Cenergi SEA Berhad is a sustainable energy solutions company focused on reducing carbon emissions through renewable energy and energy efficiency projects in Southeast Asia. Established in 2008, it operates as a subsidiary of UEM Lestra Berhad and employs 195 staff members. The company has three main business segments: renewable energy, energy efficiency, and new ventures. Cenergi is the largest biogas player in Malaysia, managing 21 biogas power plant projects with a total capacity of 37.4 MW. Its flagship project, the Cenergi FJP Biogas Power Plant, generates 5.5 MW and supports around 14,000 households. Additionally, Cenergi develops solar photovoltaic systems and is pioneering a biomass pellet business for use in coal-fired power plants.
