FFBL Power Company Limited (FPCL) is a public limited company established in June 2014 to develop and operate a coal-fired power plant in Karachi, Pakistan. The plant has an installed capacity of 118 MW and began commercial operations in May 2017. It generates electricity at two frequencies�50 Hz for export and 60 Hz for internal use�utilizing advanced technology such as circulating fluidized bed boilers and steam turbine generators. The facility is designed for high thermal efficiency and low emissions, consuming approximately 0.5 million tonnes of coal annually. FPCL is now fully owned by Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited (FFC) following a merger in July 2024. The company focuses on providing reliable electricity generation services, with a significant portion of its output supplied to K-Electric and Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim Limited.
