Established in 2002, we work with housing associations, local authorities, sustainability consultants and building surveyors to help understand and improve the condition and energy efficiency of buildings in order to maximise budgets and optimising retrofit programmes. Advanced infrared thermography, specialist drone imaging and energy modelling software from IRT help our customers to tackle the issues of building fabric/roof defects, heat loss and damp & mould. With many unknowns surrounding the condition of existing building stock and the need to become net zero by 2050, IRT play a vital role in capturing building data and understanding the true current condition of properties. IRT's thermal imaging technology solutions provide for all sectors covering all building types from housing stock surveys (using our new integrated MappIR van technology) through to tower blocks, schools, corporate estates, hospitals and highly sensitive sites such as RAF bases. IRT's cloud technology platform called �DREam' assesses the energy performance of housing, allowing each organisation to model their properties with recommended retrofit measures, optimise their retrofit plans and match properties to available government funding. Combined, it enables us to lead the way in optimising retrofits.
