About MPS

Mineral Process Services (MPS) was established: 1. To provide cost effective services to the start-up mining and processing sector assisting exploration and junior mining companies in taking projects from drilling through the various feasibility phases to production. 2. To provide consulting and implementation services to processing companies on stay-in-business projects providing assistance with debottlenecking studies, life extension programmes and extensions or modifications to enhance plant performance. MPS's process engineering team, together with our technology partners, have experience in the application of various chemical processes: - Sulphur Melting & Filtration - SO2 Production - Paper & Pulp Technologies - Various Environmental Technologies - Various processing steps on the typical mineral processing flow sheet � Crushing & Screening � Milling � Floatation � Leaching � Filtration / dewatering � Product storage & handling � Dense Media Separation (DMS) � Associated services and infrastructure Our process engineering team have implemented projects across a wide range of minerals: - Industrial mineral applications, including andalusite, bentonite, bauxite, vermiculite, zeolites etc. - Base metals applications, mainly in copper and zinc production - Ferrous and non-ferrous metals ore beneficiation, including iron ore and manganese - Precious metals, with a focus on gold and platinum - Mineral sands beneficiation Our project managers have taken various projects through the typical project life-cycle: - Conceptual studies, involving close co-operation with the client's exploration team - Pre-feasibility studies (PFS) - Feasibility studies, including definitive feasibility studies (DFS) - Front-end Engineering and Design (FEED) to allow for the compilation of a control budget estimate (CBE) against which the project can be measured and controlled - Project implementation and commissioning
