About Prime Meiden
Prime Meiden Ltd. (PML) is an Indo-Japanese joint venture formed by India's Prime Group and Japan's Meidensha Corporation. Established in 2008, the company specializes in manufacturing extra-high voltage (EHV) power transformers up to 765 kV, as well as providing EPC projects and mobile substations up to 132 kV. PML operates from its state-of-the-art factory in Naidupeta SEZ, Andhra Pradesh, with an annual capacity of 15,000 MVA, expandable to 35,000 MVA. PML's product range includes generator transformers, autotransformers, and various specialized transformers for industrial and utility applications. The company also offers EPC services for projects up to 400 kV and emphasizes cost-effective technologies through global collaborations. With a focus on growth, PML aims to become a leading transformer manufacturer in India and expand its exports to the Middle East and Africa.
