Ramagundam Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited (RFCL) is a joint venture established on February 17, 2015, to create a natural gas-based ammonia-urea complex in Ramagundam, Telangana, India. The company operates a 2,200 MTPD ammonia unit and a 3,850 MTPD urea plant, with a target annual production of 12.7 lakh MT at full capacity. RFCL began commercial operations on March 22, 2021. RFCL specializes in neem-coated prilled urea, a nitrogenous fertilizer. In FY 2022-23, the company produced 4.90 LMT and dispatched 4.97 LMT, while in FY 2023-24, production increased to 11.15 LMT with 11.19 LMT dispatched. The company plays a significant role in addressing India's urea supply-demand gap. RFCL has seen financial growth, achieving profitability in FY 2022-23 and continuing to expand in FY 2023-24.
