It is the prime African subsidiary of Samsung Heavy Industries and represents a significant foreign investment in the country, with over $300 million invested in its facilities. SHIN is known for operating the only FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading) integration yard in Africa, featuring advanced infrastructure for large offshore projects. The company specializes in EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) contracts, focusing on FPSO fabrication and integration, vessel construction, and topside production design.
