Technical Associates Transformers Ltd. (TATL), also known as Technical Associates Ltd. (TAL), is a prominent manufacturer of power and distribution transformers in India. Established in 1969 in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, the company has evolved from focusing on 11 kV distribution transformers to producing EHV power transformers up to 220 kV, with plans to expand to 765 kV. TATL operates a modern manufacturing plant in Sitarganj, Uttarakhand, with an annual capacity of over 14,000�20,000 MVA. The company has supplied over 600,000 transformers, with a significant installed capacity of approximately 150,000 MVA. TATL has also begun exporting its products to various countries, including those in Africa and Asia. Its services include engineering, procurement, and commissioning (EPC) projects on a turnkey basis, alongside initiatives in renewable energy, such as a 2.5 MW solar business. TATL is certified with ISO standards and rigorously tests its products at the Central Power Research Institute.
